James is a native of Cleveland, TN and has lived in McMinn County for over 25 years. He has worked in area funeral homes for several years and graduated from the Mortuary Science Program at Jefferson State Community College in Birmingham, AL with an Associate's Degree. He has been a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer in the state of Tennessee since 2006. James is also an ordained Minister and has pastored churches in the area for over 20 years and currently serves as Pastor of the Cambria Baptist Church, Etowah, TN. He and his wife Amber have two children and reside in the Claxton Community in McMinn County.
Amber is a native of Bradley County and a 1997 graduate of Bradley Central High School. She has worked as a secretary in Cleveland for over 20 years and has been married to James Staton for 22 years. She is a member of the Cambria Baptist Church in Etowah where she serves as a Sunday School teacher. She enjoys spending time with her family and sewing in her spare time.
Sharon is a native of Meigs County and a graduate of Meigs County High School and earned an Associate's Degree in business Management from Cleveland State Community College. She and her husband Ronney live in the Shiloh Community. Sharron has one daughter and one granddaughter.
Wayne is a native of Meigs County and lives in the Cotton Port Community and has been active in area funeral home for several years.. Before joining the Decatur Funeral Home & Cremation Services team he retired as a truck driver. Wayne serves as Deacon at Bethsaida Baptist Church. He has one daughter, two grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Gary is a native of Meigs County and is employed at Shaw Industries. Gary also serves as Pastor of the Union Grove Baptist Church. Gary is happily married to Darlene and they have two children.
Danny is a native of Meigs County and lives in the Ten Mile Community. He is a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and he and his wife Patsy are known for their singing ministry, The Carters for the past 40 years. He has two children, one granddaughter and three great-grandchildren.
Audrey has joined our staff as a Funeral assistant. She is the daughter of James and Amber Staton and is currently a Senior at the Central High School of McMinn County and plans on pursuing a career in funeral service.
