Tony William Jarvis

Tony William Jarvis, age 68, of Decatur, passed away on Thursday, June 22, 2023. Tony was a 1973 graduate of McMinn County High School and a 1977 Graduate of the University of Tennessee. He also served in the United States Army and was an avid reader and Vols fan. He is preceded in death by his father: Robert L. Jarvis, paternal grandparents: Luther M. and Edith Jarvis, maternal grandparents: Bruce C. and Lecta D. Thompson. He is survived by his mother: Nadine G. Thompson Jarvis, brother: Timothy D. Jarvis., other extended family and friends. A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 26, 2023, at 7 p.m. in the Chapel of Decatur Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Interment will be held on Tuesday, June 27, 2023, at 11 a.m. in the Moore Cemetery, Ten Mile. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m., prior to the service on Monday.
