Zachery Allen Shultz

Zachery Allen Shultz, age 22, of Athens, TN went home to be with the Lord Friday, December 9, 2011 at Erlanger Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. He was a Member of Rogers Creek Baptist Church. He was a member of McMinn County Fire and Rescue, Clearwater Fire Dept.; he was also a licensed EMT IV Tech and First Responder for McMinn County. He was preceded in death by his Grandfather George Franklin Shultz and Grandmother Iva Maria Coleman. He is survived by his father Allen "Keith" Shultz and special friend Dee Dee Defoor of Athens, TN; mother Sarah "Jeannie" and Alan Paige of Athens, TN; sister Alex Shultz of Athens, TN; step brother Seth Defoor of Athens, TN; Grandparents Junior and Sue Dills; Aunts and Uncles, Jason Dills, Vivian (Viv) and Kathy Shultz, Leon and Pam Shultz; Marlene and Mike White, Mary Jane and Mike Glover, Judy Paige, Dave and Jessie Bobich, Tim Bobich; special cousins; special friend Dylan Eichenberger; Nana and Papa Bobich; and a host of good friends. The family will receive friends at 5 until 9 p.m. Monday, and Tuesday 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., at the Woodward Avenue Church of God, Athens, TN. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at Woodward Avenue Church of God with Rev. Jamie Lones officiating. Pallbearers will be fellow firefighters.
