Winfred Eugene "Gene" Daniels, age 85, of Ten Mile, passed away on Thursday, November 5, 2026.

Gene had a deep passion for the outdoors. He cherished every moment spent hunting and fishing, finding joy and peace in nature's embrace.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Mary Alice Daniels; wife, Pearl Daniels; daughters, Mary Hufffman, Rita Cothran; grandson, Jeremy Ford.

He is survived by his son, Winfred "JuneBug" (Tammie) Daniels Jr.; siblings, Juanita Branham, Frances Harrison, Shirley Renfro, Darlene (Gary) Rolen; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, and other extended family.

No formal services will be held, per Gene's request.
