Wincie Marie Carter

Wincie "Marie" Carter, 69, of Ten Mile, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 14, 2013. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur Walden and Hala West Walden; Husband, Wendell "Dewayne" Carter; Four Brothers, Olif Walden, Richard Walden, J.A "Buddy" Walden, JR Walden; Three Sisters, Marchie Ellison, Tennie Gennor, Nettie Frances Walden. Survivors include three daughters; Brenda Carter of Ten Mile, Olivia Binger and husband Richard of Avery, TX, Carol Morgan of Riceville; One brother, Paul Walden and wife Sis of Ten Mile; Two sisters, Nancy Couch and husband James of Decatur, Margaret Bowers and husband Howard of Virginia; Grandchildren, Colton, Brandon and Charles Binger, Promise Byrd, Jana Morgan, Julia Bowers; Great Grandchildren, Krysee Byrd, Destiny and Kaitlynn Bowers. Pall Bearers include Joe Couch, Marty Couch, Bryan Carter, Ethan Carter, Walt Hatfield, Jeremy Carter. Funeral services were held at 2 pm Sunday in the Chapel of Bowers Funeral Home with Rev. Curtis Walden and Rev. A.J. Smith officiating. Interment was at Ten Mile Cemetery following the service. The family received friends from 5-8 p.m., Saturday, March 16, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Bowers Funeral Home for memorial fund to help cover expenses.
