Wilma Jean Wright

Wilma Jean Wright, 79, of Decatur, went to be with the Lord on Monday, Aug. 27, 2012, in the Athens Regional Medical Center. She was a member of the Cottonport Baptist Church. She was a member of Eastern Star 159. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Lula Mae (Jolley) Vaughn; two sisters, Frances Louise Vaughn, Cathryne Vaughn Marshall; one brother, James Mansel Vaughn. Survivors include: her loving husband of 62 years Jack Wright of Decatur, TN; one son and daughter-in-law, Edwin and Parry Wright of Clinton, TN; one granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Andrea Lee and Bobby Krimmel, of Leesburg, GA; two great grandchildren, Riley Lee Krimmel and Caden Krimmel; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 30, in the Bowers Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Donald Wattenbarger officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 pm, Wednesday, Aug 29 at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Cottonport Cemetery.
