William Houston Hinson

William Huston Hinson, age 88, of Ten Mile, TN went home to be with the Lord Thursday, May 31 , 2012. William served our country in the US Army during WWII. He was an amateur licensed ham radio operator in the 1940s and a retired electrician for TVA. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Elaine Hinson; daughter, Ginger Hinson, of Ten Mile; son Chris Hinson and his wife Connie, of Ten Mile; step sons and their spouses, Ronnie and Sharon Armstrong, Lane and Lucy Armstrong, all of Pensacola, Fl., Billy Ray and Charlott Armstrong, of Valparaiso, Indiana; grandchildren Kristen Hinson, Melissa Miles, Michael, Jeff, Paul, George, Kevin, Ryan, and Johnny Armstrong; and several great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 12-2 Saturday at the funeral home. The funeral will be at 2 pm Saturday at the Bowers Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Fred Billy officiating. Interment will be in the Decatur Cemetery following the funeral.
