William Henry Ferguson

Rev. William Henry Ferguson jr., 91 , of Decatur, went home to be with the Lord Thursday April 30, 2015. He was a life long resident of Meigs County and worked for TVA. Jr. was a man of God, a Baptist preacher who preached all over. He served our country in the US Army. Jr. was preceded in death by his wife Jeanette Aileen Couch Ferguson, his parents William Henry Ferguson sr. and Maude Ann Moon Ferguson; one son Daniel Benjamin Ferguson, two brothers Paul and Doyle Ferguson, two sisters Audrey Jenkins and Agnus Ferguson. Survivors include one son William "David" Ferguson and his wife Barbara, of Decatur; daughter-in-law Teresa Ferguson, of Decatur; three grandchildren Jennetta and her husband Ray Kaiser and their daughter Briley Kaiser, Ben Ferguson and Misty Ferguson; five additional great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held at 8 pm, Friday, Mayl 1, 2015 in the Bowers Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Lewis and Rev. Jason Black officiating. The family will receive friends from 5-8 pm, Friday at the funeral home Interment will be in the Shiloh Cemetery Saturday at 11 am..
