Walter "Duke" Charles Ricker, age 74, a lifelong resident of Ten Mile, passed away on Monday, August 17, 2020, at his residence.
He was proceeded in death by his parents: Paul and Hazel Ricker; wife: Hazel Dean Ricker; Brothers: Homer Lee Ricker, Lester Ricker, and Jay Ricker; Sisters: Mary Jane Hunter and Jessie Many Steele.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory: His son: Jake (Pat) Ricker of Ten Mile; Daughters: Faye Ricker and April (Logan) Taylorof Ten Mile; Brother: Earl Ricker of Decatur; Sisters: Dorothy Ann Crisp, Rita Ricker, Bonnie Appelt of Decatur, and Betty Daniels of Riceville; 3 Grandchildren, and 4 Great-Grandchildren.
A Graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 20, 2020 at Mt. Olivet Cemetery with the Rev. Mike Couch officiating.
There will be no formal visitation.
