Troy Crowder

Troy Crowder, age 75, of Decatur, passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at his residence. He was a son of the late Arvil and Beaulah Crowder and was retired from the Lazy Boy Furniture Co. Troy attended the Faith Baptist Church and was active in the Meigs County Jail Ministry. He was preceded in death by his wives; Lenda Sue Crowder and Harriett Crowder, Brothers: Clifford Crowder, Lloyd Crowder, Lawrence Crowder, and Roy Lee Crowder, and a sister; Mary Elizabeth Catlin. Troy leaves behind several nieces, nephews, other extended family, and a host of friends to cherish his memory. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at 10 a.m. in the Meigs County Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Mike Couch officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital. Decatur Funeral Home & Cremation Services is honored to serve the Crowder Family.
