Tony Lynn Smith

Tony Lynn Smith, age 58, of Decatur, passed away on Friday, January 19, 2024. He loved to hunt and fish and was the type of person to give the shirt off his back to someone in need. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his Parents: Gene and Nannie Bob Smith; Sister-in-law: Debbie Smith; Nephew: Matt Smith. He is survived by his children: Cherelle (Sabastian) Allmon of Ten Mile, A. J. (Jodie) Smith of Wartburg; Grandchildren: Bryson (Paige) Smith, Alyssa Allmon, Abby Smith, Bowen Smith, Hannah Smith, Haden Green, Dakota Green, Paisley Green; Great Grandchild: Hayden Smith; Sister: Betty (Larry) Henderson; Brothers: Donny Smith, Larry (Dana) Smith, several nieces, nephews, and other extended family. A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 26, 2024 at 7 p.m. in the Chapel of Decatur Funeral Home & Cremation Services with the Rev. Mike Rymer and the Rev. A.J. Smith officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 - 7 p.m., prior to the service. A private graveside will be held in the Shiloh Cemetery.
