Tony Dean Reed, Sr., 64, of Decatur, TN died Friday, August 30, 2013 in the Athens Regional Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his parents, Virden Dempsey and Golden Genevieve (Brown) Reed; daughter Mary Sue Reed; 2 brothers, Ronald and Phillip Reed; sister Brenda Reed.. He is survived by Mother of his children Wanda Sue Reed Couch of Spring City, TN; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Bobby Joe and Gracie Reed of Decatur, Tony Dean Reed, Jr., of Phoenix, AZ; two daughters and one son-in-law, Barbara Baker of Rockwood, TN, Tammy and Charles Franklin of Dayton, TN; four grandchildren, James Lee Baker, Christina Baker, Randy Emerson, Gage Franklin; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 12 noon on Monday, Sep. 2, 2013 in the Bowers Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Aaron Revis officiating. Interment will be in the lower Goodfield Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 - 9 p.m., Sunday, Sep. 1, 2013 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be: Bobby Reed, Randy Emerson, Steven Mow, Tommy McDaniel, , Michael Dodd..
