Timothy Alan Perry

Timothy Alan Perry 17, of Decatur, went to our Lord on Saturday, April 14, 2012. He was a senior at Meigs County High School. As a recent transfer from Sebring High School in Florida, Timothy was a member of Mu Alpha Theta, National Honor Society, and National Association of High School Scholars. He was a beloved member of Emmanuel United Church of Christ of Sebring. He was also a volunteer at The Boys and Girls Club of Central Florida and at Florida Hospital in Sebring with over 120 hours of volunteer service. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Gary Perry and sister Trinity Huse. Survivors include his mother Julie Perry of Decatur; father, Jack Miller and wife Carrie Miller of Jefferson, GA; sister Rhilyn Huse and brothers Logan Huse of Decatur, Jacob and Seth Miller, both of Jefferson GA.; Maternal grandparents John and Wanda Lear of Decatur; aunt, Jodi Perry of Decatur; uncle, Timothy A Perry of Sebring, FL; and numerous cousins The family will receive friends, from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, at Watts Bar Church of God. Funeral services will follow with the Rev. Connie Goins officiating. Burial will be 1 p.m. Friday, at Walnut Grove Cemetery
