Thomas Bryan Mitchell

Thomas Bryan Mitchell, 24, of Athens, TN went to be with the Lord on Monday, Dec. 5, 2011, in Athens Regional Medical Center. He was a member of New Beginnings Baptist Church, Calhoun, TN. He was preceded in death by his father Leon Mitchell. Survivors include his mother Louise Shelton, of Kingston, TN; son Patrick Glandon of Kingston, TN; brother and sister-in-law, Andy and Tiffany Mitchell of Athens, TN; sister Michelle Morris of Riceville, TN. Funeral services will be held at 8 PM, Thursday, December 8, 2011 in the Bowers Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. officiating. Interment will be at 1 PM, Friday, December 9, 2011, in the Roberts Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m., Thursday, December 8, 2011 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to Bowers Funeral Home, P.O. Box 389, Decatur, TN 37322 to help with the funeral expenses.
