Theron Lee Giddens

Theron (Ted) Lee Giddens, age 71, went to be with the Lord Sunday, October 23, 2011 at his residence in Ten Mile, TN. He was a member of the Oak Grove United Methodist Church. He retired from the United States Air Foprce after servomg 21 years. He was a Quality Control Electrical Inspector for a Nuclear Plant. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Bessie (Guinn) Giddens; 2 brothers, Blake and William Giddens. He is survived by his wife Peggy (Shaw-Taylor) Giddens of Ten Mile, TN; 3 sons and daughter-in-laws, David and Pam Giddens of Sarasota, FL, Mark and Tammy Clinkenbeard of Knoxville, TN, Vernon (Chip) and Laura Giddens of Bethel, OH; 4 daughters and 2 son-in-laws, Connie and Doug Chaffin of Campbell, CA, Christie McCullough of SanJose, CA, Susan and Steve Hyatt of Starks, LAS, Judith Reynolds of Ten Mile, TN; one sister and brother-in-law, Cena and Wallace Thompson of Turlock, CA; 13 Grandchildren; 19 Great Grandchildren; and a host of good friends. A Memorial Service will be held from 5 until 7 p.m., Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at the funeral home and everyone is invited to spend time with his family.
