Tessa Richesin

Tessa Nelson Richesin, 50, of Meigs County, TN went to be with the Lord on Wednesday Sept. 7, 2011 at Erlanger Hospital, Chattanooga, TN. Tessa was a graduate of Meigs County High School and a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, William "Bill" and Mary Sue Crabtree Nelson. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Derrick and April Nelson, of Athens; grandchildren, Michael Harris, Alexsis Harris, and Gavin Nelson; stepmother, Donna Lewis Nelson; step brothers, Edwin Dill of New York, Kevin Dill of Meigs County; and special friend, Tina Thomas. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 11, 2011 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Curtis Porter officiating. Interment will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m., Saturday, Sept 10, 2011 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Justin West, Brandon McMahan, Mark Hayes, Justin Dill, Kevin Dill, Butch Nelson. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Meigs Historical Society or the American Diabetes Association.
