Susan Davis

Susan "Sue" E. Davis, 58, of Decatur, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2015 at her home surrounded by loved ones. She was a member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church and worked as a teachers aid at Meigs South Elementary School. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lauren and Alice (Nickerson) Raymond. Survivors include her husband of 26 years, Donnie Davis, of Decatur; sons, Chris Landon Davis (Amanda Andrejek), Nick (Gabby) Davis, both of Meigs co; daughters, Sally (Mike) Sigler, of Birchwood, Holly (Billy) Goines, of Meigs co; brothers, Ricky (Marilyn) Raymond, Eddie (Grace) Raymond, John (Robin) Raymond, Jimmy Raymond, all of Dayton, Timmy Nickerson, of NY; sisters, Barbara (Eugene) Shaver, of Dayton, Nancy (James) Thurman, of Bledsoe co., Jackie ( Scott) Pendelton, of Dayton, Nancy Jean Kirby and Dee Kirby both of Dayton; grandchildren, Dominick Holmes, Alexia Goines, Ryan Elliott, Cassie Goines, Caleb Newman, Victoria Masters, Kristina Landon, Aliceia Landon, Gray Henry, Gunner Davis. The funeral service will be 12 pm at Walnut Grove Baptist Church Saturday with Rev. Mike Rymer officiating with burial to follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends at from 4-7 pm Friday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Ricky Raymond, Eddie Raymond, John Raymond, Jim Raymond, Darrell Davis, Randy Davis.
