Steven M Hughes

Steven M. Hughes, age 67, of Decatur, passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at U T Medical Center in Knoxville.

He was a truck driver for American Uniform. He was a devoted patriot and avid supporter of President Trump and the United States Military.

He was proceeded in death by his mother; Jimmye Hughes, sons; Steven and Jimmye Hughes, daughter; Michelle Hughes.

Steven leaves behind to cherish his memory: his father; Johnny Hughes of Ten Mile, his wife of 30 years, Marie Hughes of Decatur, sons; Jeremiah and Melissa Hughes of Athens, Aaron and Paige Hughes of Etowah, step sons; Jarrod Bennett of Decatur, Todd Bennett of Decatur, daughter; Shelby Hughes of Decatur, brother; Barry Hughes and Terry of Chattanooga, sisters; Susan Pike of Cookeville, Kim Niles and Mike of San Bernardino, CA, Kathy Sorenson and Rex of Soddy Daisy, 14 grandchildren, 2 great- grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and other extended family.

Family and friends will assemble for a Graveside service at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 21, 2020 at Beta Cemetery with Ricky Campbell officiating.

There will be no formal visitation.
