Stevan Cody Newman

Stevan Cody Newman, 27, of Decatur, TN, went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 7, 2014. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his Grandfather Charles PB Newman, Sr. He is survived by his mother Robin (Varnell) Newman of Decatur, TN, father Charles PB Newman, Jr. (Scoby), of Hixson, TN; loving sister Haley Newman of Hixson, TN; Maternal grandparents Ben and Ivadell Varnell of Decatur, TN; Paternal grandparent Lynette Newman of Sweetwater, TN; nephew Issac Parker of Decatur, TN; and a host of friends. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m., Friday, July 11, 2014 in the Decatur Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home. Funeral service will be held at 8 pm, Thursday, with the Rev. Erick Bell officiating. Pallbearers: Tripp Newman, Nathan Miller, Cody Miller, Dakota Hurst, Nick Redman, Benjamin Mann.
