Stanley Raymond Davis

Stanley Raymond Davis, age 74, of Decatur, passed away on Friday, September 15, 2017 at Roane Medical Center.

He was a son of the late Herman and Oma Lee Davis and is preceded in death by his brothers; Clyde, Ross, Wayne, and Robert Davis, sisters; Francis Monroe, Margie McCain, and Sandra Johnson and a daughter-in-law, Susan Davis.

Stanley was an active member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church.

He is survived by his sons; Randy Davis, and wife Angie of Cleveland, TN, Darrell Davis and wife Linda of Decatur, TN, and Donnie Davis of Decatur, TN, brother; Glen Davis and his wife Faye of Decatur, TN, sisters; Barbara Powell of Georgetown, TN, Shirley Melton of Hixson, TN, grandchildren; Brooke Davis, Angel Davis, Nick Davis and wife, Gabby, Chris Landon and children, Sally Sigler and children, Holly Goines and children, great-grandchildren, Gunner Davis, Paisley Davis, and arriving in December, Caroline Elizabeth Davis, several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 8:00 PM., Monday, September 18, 2017 at Walnut Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Mike Rymer and Jamey Davis officiating.

Interment will be in the Walnut Grove Baptist Church Cemetery on Tuesday, September 19, 2017, at 11 AM. Michael Monroe, Randall Pettit, Jeff Davis, Danny Davis, Jerry Davis, Chris Johnson, and Freddy Davis will serve as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Walnut Grove Cemetery Fund, c\o Tony Standridge, 610 Sims Rd, Decatur, TN 37322

The family will receive friends on Monday, September 18, 2017, from 5 until 8 PM at Walnut Grove Baptist Church prior to the services.
