Son Shelton

Son Ho Shelton, 66, of Decatur went home to be with the Lord on Sunday Aug. 25, 2019 at Hospice of Chattanooga Care Center.

She was born April 5, 1953 in South Korea. Son was a member of the Full Korean Gospel Church of Chattanooga. She was a devoted Christian and grandmother. She loved God and her family.

She was preceded in death by her father Bong Jun Park.

Survivors include her mother An Sik (Ko) Park; husband Virgil Shelton, of Decatur; two sons James Shelton, of Knoxville, TN and Joe Shelton, of Gray, TN; four grandchildren Brooklyn and Trey Shelton, of Maryville and Kai and Kali Shelton, of Decatur; two brothers Man Ho Park, of Weston, Fl and Kyun Ho Park, of Flushing, NY; three sisters Hyun Ho Park, Won Ho Park and Soon Ho Park, all of Flushing, NY.

The funeral service will be held in the chapel of Bowers funeral home at 7:30 PM Tuesday Aug. 27, 2019 with Pastor Eui-Gyeom Kim and Rev. David Bennett officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00-7:30 PM Tuesday.
