Shirley Ann Emmerson Jirles

Shirley Ann Emerson Jirles, 53, of Sweetwater, TN went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 8, 2015. She was a member of Peakland Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by: her parents, Carroll Lee Behel and Sarah Francis Behel; sisters, Debra Behel and Annette Jones; brothers, Ronnie Behel, Henry Bohel, and Larry Behel all of Florence, AL. She is also preceded in death by her first husband of 29 years, Donnie Wayne Emerson of Ten Mile, TN; her second husband of 5 years, James Butch Jirles of Sweetwater, TN. She is survived by: three brothers and sister-in-laws, Jackie and Gwen Behel of Waterloo, AL, Bobby and Cindy Behel, Jr. and Tina Behel of Florence, AL; one sister and brother-in-law, Freda and Buddy Proctor of Ten Mile, TN; two sons, Michael Paul Emerson of Athens, AL, David Alan Emerson of Athens, TN:; two stepsons, Shane and Mike Jerles; special daughter, Heather Grissom: four grandchildren, Logan Emerson, Hayden Emerson, Cameron Mincey, D'aja West: 2 step grandchildren, Dallas and Dalton Jirles; special niece, Gale Emerson Vaughn: special nephews, Tommie and William Proctor: special friends; Becky and Roy Jenkins, Bernice Hicks: her loving boyfriend, Jackie Scroggins: and several other special nieces and nephews whom she loved very much. The family will receive friends Thursday, February 12 from 5-8 pm with the funeral at 8 at the funeral home with Rev. Gary Rowland and Rev. Richard Tallent officiating. Interment will be Friday, February 13, at 2 pm and Mountain View Cemetery. The pallbearers will include: Keith Vaughn, Bubby Proctor, Rocky Willis, Michael Barnes, Andy Mitchell and Donny Howard.
