Sharon Diane Whitehead

Sharon Diane Bolyard Whitehead, 71, of Decatur, passed away Monday Dec. 21, 2015.

She was of the Baptist faith and worked as a machine operator for Decatur Plastics.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dave Thornton and Dovey Sweeney Thornton; husband, William "Bill" Whitehead; 1st husband, Leroy Bolyard; brothers, Alton "Al" Thornton, David Anthony "Tony" Thornton; son, Ronald "Ronnie" Bolyard.

Survivors include sons, Daniel Bolyard and Leroy Bolyard jr, both of Decatur; daughters, Peggy Bolyard, of Mississippi and Catherine Bolyard Thurman, of Decatur; sister, Sandra Thornton Hale, of Decatur; sisters-in-law, Zondra Thornton, of Decatur, Susan Thornton, of Athens and Lisa Thornton, of FL.; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
