On Monday Sept. 30, 2013, Seth, 2 months, was peacefully called to his Heavenly home where he was greeted and welcomed by Jesus and his daddy, Mike, who also passed away in Feb. of this year. He was a beloved member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church of Athens. In life he was beautiful, miraculous, precious, funny and a sweet little cuddle-bug. No child could have been loved more by all who encountered him and he loved everyone he met. He is survived by his loving, devoted and heart broken mother, Marie Horton Larson of Decatur; grandparents Jim and Pat Proffitt of Decatur, Glenn and Pat Horton of Athens and Pat and Carolynn DiTrocchio of Niota; aunts and uncles Tom and Glennanne Boegly of Knoxville, Zach and Julie Tomlin of Athens, Michael and Madeline Keener of Soddy-Daisy, Matthew and Amanda DiTrocchio of Alabama, Ray and Maria DiTrocchio-Olsen of Delaware, Jackie Knudsen of Illinois; several cousins, many, many friends, loved ones and church family. Prayers are needed. Flowers will be accepted, however, in lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Paul's Episcopal Church and/or Animal Aid, both in Athens. Good night sweet prince and may flights of angels sing the to rest. Rest in peace my little monkey boy and know that mama loves her Sethie-Poo. Ps 23. Funeral services are at 2 pm on Sunday at St. Paul's Episcopal church in Athens and interment will follow in Decatur Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church at 1 Sunday.
