Sandra Jean Brown

Sandra Jean Christiansen Brown, age 79, of Chattanooga, Beloved wife, mother, mimi, sister, aunt and friend left this world to be with the Lord on August 7, 2017. Sandy was born in Kansas, but moved to Chattanooga over 60 years ago. She was a faithful member of Silverdale Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Her family and many in the community counted on the love, wisdom, and caring heart of this beautiful woman. She will be missed, but all who knew her are forever grateful for her impact on their lives.

Sandy was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, two brothers, and her youngest son Marlin.

Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Joe D Brown; son, Curtis and wife Marsha; daughter, Diana Hall; son, Ron and wife Marti; son, Mike and wife Tami; 16 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren, Brother David Christiansen and wife Beverly, Sister Glenna Grant , Bruce Christiansen and wife Lucie

The family will receive visitors on Thursday, 8/10/17 from 5:00 - 7:00 pm in the sanctuary of Silverdale Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Bonny Oaks Drive, Chattanooga, TN. A memorial service will immediately follow at 7:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Silverdale Cumberland Presbyterian Church's Nursery Renovation fund. Sandy was a favorite of all the children there.
