Sally Ann Trew

Today we celebrate the life and mourn the loss of Sally Ann Trew, a wonderful wife, matriarch, and faithful child of God who went home to be with the Lord on Jan 21, 2013. Sally, born June 22, 1945 in Brunswick, ME, worked tirelessly to help others, most recently giving of herself as Vice President of the C.A.R.E. organization for shelter animals. She was an active member of the Michigan Ave. Rd. Church of Christ in Cleveland. Sally was also a member of the Meigs County Fair Association for 24 years and a substitute teacher. She was a graduate of Hightstown High Scholl in Hightstown, NJ and of Southwestern Medical Academy in Phoenix, AZ. Sally is survived by her husband of 50 years, Mr. Clyde R. Trew; sons, Thomas Trew and his wife Teresa, Scott Trew and his wife Julie; daughter Cindy Trew, all of Ten Mile; brother-in-law Frank Harrison, of Florida; three grandchildren, Thomas, Tyler and William Trew; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Mae Rose Harrison. Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday., Jan. 23, 2013 with Rev. Gary Hargis officiating at Bowers Funeral Home with interment to follow at Mountain View Memorial Garden. The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home.
