Ruby Womac

Ruby Howard Womac, age 87, of Decatur, TN, went to be with the Lord Saturday, July 24, 2010 at the Skyridge Medical Center. She was the last of ten children. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. She was cherished, admired and loved by her family. Her gentle spirit will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Cindy (McKinney) Howard; Sisters, Opal, Ulah, Florence and Betty: Brothers, Bill, Ray, J.C., Arlin and Hoyal Howard. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, J.D. Womac, of Decatur, Tn; sister-in law, Bertha Womac, of Calhoun, TN; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Funeral services will be 7:30 P.M. on Monday, July 26, 2010, in the Bowers Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Lewis officiating. Interment will be at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, July 27, 2010, in the Clear Springs Cemetery, CR 100. The family will receive friends from 5-7:30 P.M. Monday, July 26, 2010 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be nephews: Ralph Jarvis, Ronnie Swafford, John Parks, Claude Swafford, Curt Gee and Don Swafford
