Ruby Lee Wilson

Ruby Lee Wilson, 86, of Decatur, went to be with the Lord on Thursday March 29, 2012. She was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church and a life long member of the Am Vets National Auxilary. She was preceded in death by parents, Albert and Beulah (Burton) Wilson; 1st husband, Finely Fairbanks; 2nd husband, Haskell Wilson; brothers, Ernest "Sun" Wilson, George Washington Wilson, Short Wilson, Arthur Charles Wilson, Woodrow Wilson, Robert Wilson, Frank Wilson; sisters, Daisy May Goforth, Wilma B. Wilson. She is survived by 2 sons and daughter-in-laws, Lester and Helen Fairbanks of Cleveland, TN, Johnny A. and Sheila Fairbanks of Decatur; 3 daughters and son-in-laws, Mary Katherine and Bob Gamble of Cleveland, TN, Sue and Lake Walker of Cleveland, TN, Joyce and Herbert Martin of Athens; 18 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; 19 great great-grandchildren; and special family friend David Price. The family will receive friends 5-8 p.m. on Monday, April 2, 2012 at the Bowers Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held in the Bowers Funeral Home Chapel at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 3 with Rev. Lake Walker and Rev. Max Redman officiating. Interment will be in Mountain View Memorial Gardens.
