Roy Allen Johnston

Roy Allen Johnston, age 71 of Ooltewah, TN went to be home with the Lord on May 17, 2011 at The Health Care Center at Standifer Place. He was preceded in death by his father Roy Johnston. He is survived by his mother, Carrie Bell Johnston of Ooltewah; one sister Carol Jordan of Apison; one nephew, Chris and Angie Jordan; one niece, Debbie and Jeff Delashmitt; 8 great nieces and nephews; and lots of friends both young and old at the Ooltewah Youth Association Baseball Field as baseball was his passion, The Atlanta Braves being his favorite team. Funeral services are 2:00 p.m. Friday May 20, 2011 at Bowers Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Eugene Bennett officiating. Internment Friday at Plowman Cemetery in Apison,TN. Pallbearers are Steven Braden, Kenny Lawson, Time Moore, Alex Padgett, Tim Stafford, Bill Twitty. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 p.m. on Friday at the Funeral Home.
