Ross Luther Miller

Ross Luther Miller, 77, of Decatur, TN went to be with the Lord Sunday, March 24, 2012 at Athens Regional Medical Center. He was a member of Decatur First Baptist Church. He was a member and helped with charity work with the AMVETS Auxiliary. He was an Air Force Veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ross and Stella Davis Miller; wife June Miller; daughter Viki Miller. He is survived by sons, Steven Ross Miller of Spring City, TN, Jeff Miller of Decatur, TN; one daughter and son-in-law, Gayla and Bill Dixon of Athens, TN; one half brother Victor Davis of Johnson City, TN; one sister and brother-in-law, Betty Ross Scroggs and Cletus of Decatur, TN; 5 grandchildren, Crystal and Skipper Jackson, Niki and Jonathan Long, Beth Dixon, Kyla Miller and Chanell Miller; 3 great grandchildren. Funeral Service will be held at 8 pm, Tuesday., Mar. 26, 2013 with Rev. Joe K. Miller officiating at Bowers Funeral Home. Graveside service will be held at 11 am, Wed., Mar. 27, 2013 at Mountain View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home. Pallbearers: Jonathan Long, Skipper Jackson, Jacob Kennedy, Cameron Mayo, Tyson Palmer and Justin Finnell. In lieu of flowers make donations to the American Diabetes Association.
