Ross Lankford

Ross Lankford, 55, of Ten Mile, TN died on June 1, 2012 at the Sky Ridge Medical Center. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim Ted and Cora Mae (Miller) Lankford; 2 special aunts, Stella Miller and Marie Brown. He is survived by his wife of 27 years Sheila Lankford of Ten Mile, TN; one son and daughter-in-law, Billy and Tammy Lankford of Decatur, TN; two daughters and one son-in-law, Crystal Lankford, Sue and Terry Gregory, all of Ten Mile, TN; three brothers and one sister-in-law, Mike Lankford, Tim Lankford, Ray and Marilyn Lankford, all of Decatur, TN; one sister Mary Jane Powell of Decatur, TN; three grandchildren, Angel Lankford, Latosha "Old Woman" Gregory, Austin Ross Gregory; several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 8 pm in the Bowers Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Couch officiating. The family will receive friends from 5-8 pm on Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will be at 11 am on Thursday, June 7, 2012 in the Mountain View Memorial Gardens, Decatur. TN. Pallbearers are Brandon Lankford, Billy Lankford, Jackie Goforth, John Linebarger, Jeremy Lankford, Ray Lankford. Honorary pallbearers are Ronald, Allen, Mike, and Tim Lanford.
