Rosie L. Wilson

Rosie L. (Mamaw) Wilson., 89, of Decatur, went to be with the Lord peacefully Thursday, October 3, 2013, at her home with all her family by her side. She was a beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Great-Great Grandmother and friend to everyone. She was an angel to everyone that knew her. She was a member of Cottonport Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her late husband Norman Wilson, her mother Barbara Moses, one grandson Chris Wilson, daughter-in-laws Faye Wilson and Margie Wilson, son-in-law Bobby Heck. She is survived by daughters Opal Heck , Lesia and David Fitch , sons, Charles Wilson, Larry Wilson, Wayne and Linda Wilson all of Decatur, TN. A special friend Deb Lewis. She had 7 Grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Funeral service will be at 1 p.m., Monday October 7, 2013 in the Bowers Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Max Redman and Jamey Davis officiating. Burial will be in the Cottonport Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 - 8 p.m., Sunday, October 6, 2013 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be her grandson's, Edward Wilson, Justin Wilson, Aaron Fitch, Dennis Shaver, Doug Wilcox, Kenny Vaughn and Zack Crager. Honorary Pallbearers G. D. Smith and Leon Wright.
