Rosa Lee Walden, age 78, of Decatur, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at her residence.
She was a daughter of the late John and Lilly Mae Reno and was preceded in death by her husband James Doyle Walden; her brothers John Reno, Charlie Reno, and Jimmy Reno, and her sisters, Betty Reno and Linda Scoggins.
Survivors include her daughters Sharon Finnell and her husband Tony Finnell and Carolyn Walden both of Decatur, a brother Ken Reno, and a sister, Edith Bishop. 6 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 1 great, great grandson, several nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends also survive. She was loved by all who knew her and she will be greatly missed.
Funeral Service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Monday, August 14, 2017 in the Chapel of Bowers Funeral Home with the Rev. Hugh Bryan officiating.
Interment will be in the Peasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Ten Mile on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at 11 a.m. with Rocky King, Chunkey Taylor, Josh Finnell, Jason Finnell, Blake Walden, and Ed Wilson serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends on Monday, from 5 until 7, at Bowers Funeral Home prior to the services.
