Ronda Gale Vaughn

Ronda Gale Vaughn, 52, of Athens, went home to be with the Lord Monday, Nov. 16, 2015. She was a member of Pope Ave. Baptist Church in Athens, TN. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde L. Emerson and Pauline Goddard Emerson; son, Christopher Emerson; brother, Randy Emerson. She is survived by her husband, Keith Vaughn, of Athens; son, Rocky C. Willis, of Athens; daughter, Yolanda West, of Ten Mile; sisters, Charlotte Powell, of Calhoun and Jo Ann Clowers and her husband Ricky, of Ten Mile; grandchildren, Hunter Emerson, Razham West, Alizeah West and D'Aja West; special friend, Freda Proctor; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be Friday at 2 pm in the chapel of Bowers Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Smith and Pastor Vann Elkins officiating. Burial will follow in Roberts Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12-2 on Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made to Bowers Funeral Home PO Box 389, Decatur, TN 37322 to help with the funeral expenses.
