Roger Lee Bales

"Roger" L. Bales, 59, of Ten Mile, TN, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 16, 2014 in Starr Regional Medical Center. He was of the Holiness Faith. He was preceded in death by his mother Girtie "Viola" (Waller) Bales. He is survived his wife of 40 years Vivian (Farmer) Bales of Ten Mile, TN; father Dexter Bales of Ten Mile, TN; two sons and one daughter in law, William Eric Powell of Ten Mile, TN, Roger Dewayne and Lisa Bales of Ten Mile, TN; four brothers and sister in laws, Ralph and Lucille Bales of Ten Mile, Billy and Faye Bales of Ten Mile, Roy and Sandra Bales of Roane County, TN, Clifford and Barbara Bales of Ten Mile; four sisters and brother in laws, Sue and Herb Jones of Lenior City, TN, Debbie and Jimmy Beason of Roane County, TN, Peggy and Michael Allen of Roane County, TN, Brenda and Jake Howell of Ten Mile, TN; 6 grandchildren, Tyler Jennings, Lee Jennings, Ethan Powell, Amanda Powell, Brianna Bales, Ainsleigh Bales; one great grandchild Axton Powell; several nieces and nephews and a host of good friends.. Funeral service will be held at 8 p.m., Monday, August 18, 2014 in the Bowers Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lawrence Waller officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 - 8 pm, Monday, August 18, 2014 at the funeral home. Interment will be at 11 a.m., Tuesday, August 19, 2014 in the Bales Family Cemetery, Ten Mile, TN. Pallbearers: Ethan Powell, Jacke Hairell, Tony Bales, Mark Beason, Travis Allen, Mitch Bales.
