Robert Joe Crabtree, age 53, of Niota, passed away on Saturday, November 2, 2024.
He enjoyed being in nature with animals, cooking, listening to music, and bringing his mom flowers. He loved going to church, those were the happiest days of his life.
He is survived by his parents: Howard and Connie Tilley Crabtree; sister: Kim Crabtree; niece: Carrie Fairbanks; nephew: Jesse Fairbanks; great-niece: Hazel Byers; fur baby: Ellie Mae; other extended family and a host of friends.
A funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, November 7, 2024, in the chapel of Decatur Funeral Home & Cremation Services with the Rev. Victor Abernathy officiating.
Interment will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 8, 2024, in the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery in Niota.
The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. on Thursday, prior to service.
