Richard Stanley Wiggins

Richard Wiggins, 75 of Decatur passed away January 4, 2018 unexpectedly from injuries sustained in an auto accident. He was born in North Wales, PA, the son of Nicholas Curranti and Pearl Wiggins. Richard was an auto mechanic most of his life. He proudly served in the United States Army. He was a Baptist by faith and a member at Walnut Grove Baptist Church in Decatur.

Richard is preceded in death by his parents, Nicholas Curranti and Pearl Wiggins; his wife Mary Wiggins; a sister Peg Wiggins and a brother Irving Wiggins.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Bobbie Wiggins of Decatur; daughters, Samantha Wiggins of Decatur, Angie Wiggins of Wisconsin, and Nicole Wiggins of Pennsylvania; two brothers, John and Kermit Wiggins; and six grandchildren.

A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at 11am on January 20, 2018 at Walnut Grove Baptist Church in Decatur.
