Richard Wayne Newman

Richard Wayne Newman, age 67 of Spring City, TN went home to be with the Lord on May 2, 2011 at his Spring City residence. Mr. Newman is a member of the Decatur Church of God, Decatur, TN, and A member of Meigs County Masonic Lodge #213 He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Newman and Gladys Mathis Newman, son, Joseph Mitchell Newman, Brother, Dan Allen Newman, and Sister, Marjorie Pierce He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Wilma Newman of Spring City, TN. Son, Russell Wayne Newman of Sallisaw, Oklahoma Daughters, Cyntha Lee Oliver and husband, Chuck of Sallisaw, Oklahoma Nikki Newman of Spring City, TN and Dana Watson and husband, Doug of Athens, TN Sisters, Peggy Womac and Joann Hubbard both of Decatur, TN Several nieces and nephews 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren Visitation and funeral services are Wednesday evening, May 4, 2011 at 8:00 p.m. at the Bowers Funeral Home Chapel with Meigs County Lodge #213 officiating. Family will receive friends on Wendesday May 6, from 5-until time of services Mr. Newman will be transported to the Sallisaw Cemetery in Sallisaw Oklahoma for burial.
