Rev. Earl H. Graves

Rev. Earl H. Graves, age 69, of Decatur, went to his heavenly home on Tuesday, August 13, 2024.

Earl was the son of the late Haul and Evelyn “Tootsie” Graves.  Earl loved the Lord with all his heart and served the Lord as a Baptist Minister for many years and loved the many church members he got the privilege to pastor. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandkids, and riding on his tractor.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years: Vivian Graves; daughters: Amber (Michael) Malone, Tara (Jeremy) Jones; grandchildren: Gavin and Mia Malone, Tegan and Finley Jones; sister: Patty (Jackie) Melton; several nieces, nephews, other extended family, and a host of friends.

A funeral service will be held at 5 p.m. on Thursday, August 15, 2024, at Clear Springs Baptist Church (County Road 100, Athens, TN) with the Rev. Kenneth Elkins and Bro. Bruce Malone officiating.  Interment will follow in the Clear Springs Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 3 - 5 p.m., prior to the service.
