Reba Marie Moses

Reba Marie Moses, age 75, went to be with the Lord, Friday, June 1, 2012, in the Athens Regional Medical Center. She was a member of the Bethsadia Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and will be missed by everyone. She was preceded in death by her parents, D. E. Doc Womac and Amanda (Goforth) Womac; 7 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her husband of 50 good years, "AJ" Moses; 2 sons, Jerry Moses and Albert Moses, all of Decatur, TN; 2 daughters, Barbara "Bardi" Duncan and Marie Underwood both of Decatur, TN; 2 brothers and 1 sister-in-law, Lewis (Cotton) Womac and Jimmy and Martha Womac all of Athens, TN; 6 Grandchildren; 4 Great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, and a host of good friends. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. on Monday, June 4, 2012, at the Bowers Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 8 p.m., Monday, June 4, 2012 with Rev. Larry Sorah and Rev. Joe K. Miller officiating, in the Bowers Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in the Beta Cemetery at 11 a.m., Tuesday, June 5, 2012. Pallbearers: Albert Moses, Billy Palmer, Dan Elder, Robbie Moses, Wayne Cowart, James Moses. Alternates Michael Underwood and Timmy Moses.
