Reba Grace Bishop

Reba Grace Oliver Bishop, 91, of Decatur, went to be with the Lord on November 16, 2014 at her residence. A native of Meigs County. She was a daughter of the late Erskin Oliver and Jesse Bell Oliver. She was a faithful member of Good Hope Baptist Church for over 70 years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, William (Bill) Bishop, one daughter Annie Louise Bishop, father Erskin Oliver, mother Jesse Bell Oliver, step mother Artie Brown Oliver, one sister Leron Jenkins of Sparta, TN, one brother Ray Oliver of Decatur, TN. She is survived by two sons and daughter-in-laws, Taylor and Ruby Bishop of Nashville, TN, Dean and Ann Bishop of Florida; three daughters and son-in-laws, Linda and Jerry Lewis, Carolyn and Ed Stout, Beverly and Johnny Prentice, all of Decatur, TN,; 12 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; one sister, Maxine Wilson of Garden City, MI, one sister-in-law, Iva Lou Oliver of Decatur; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 2 pm on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 in the chapel at Bowers Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Pearman officiating. Burial will be in the Beta Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 - 8 pm, Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at the funeral home. Pallbearers: Tony Lewis, Keith Lewis, Chad Prentice, Steve Beaty, Lonnie Elder, Bill Fulbright.
