Ralph A. Couch, Jr.

Ralph "Pops" A. Couch, Jr., age 76, of Ten Mile, TN, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2013 in the Athens Regional Medical Center. He attended the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. He was an avid fisherman. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph A. and Ollie (Bishop) Couch, Sr.; brothers Arvil, Hershel and Gary Couch. He is survived by his wife of 51 years Betty (Horn) Couch of Ten Mile, TN; daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Robert Brown of Ten Mile, TN; brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Gail Couch of Dalton, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Brenda and Billy Spence of Dalton, GA; one grandson, Derick Ralph Brown of Ten Mile: several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, Aug. 24, 2013 in the Bowers Funeral Home Chapel Interment will be in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 - 8 p.m., Friday, August 23, 2013 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be: Bryan Waller, Derick Brown, Robert Brown, Pete Couch, Boe Millsaps and Edward Couch.
