Phyllis Jennings Brown

Phyllis Jennings Brown, age75, a lifelong resident of Decatur, TN, passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2022. Phyllis was born on February 8, 1947, to the late Perry and Edna Varnell Jennings. She was a big Braves fan and enjoyed reading, cross stitch, shopping but most of all being with her grandkids. She is preceded in death by her brothers: Raymond and Charles Jennings. She is survived by her daughter: Annette Brown Dungan of Decatur, sons: Mike Brown (Amber Rice) of Cleveland, Chad Brown of Decatur, granddaughter: Alyssa Dungan, grandson: Waylon Dungan, brothers: Jim Everett (Katherine), Edward Jennings (Helen), many nieces, nephews, and special friends. Funeral service will be held on Monday, August 1, 2022, at 7 p.m. at Walnut Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Kenneth Gardner Officiating. Interment will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at Walnut Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 prior to the service.
