Phillip Carl Mcelroy

Phillip Carl "Buzz" McElroy, 54, of Decatur died Tuesday, Oct 6, 2015. He was of the Baptist faith. He was the son of the late Raymond and Helen (Letner) McElroy. He was also preceded in death by his brother, James McElroy and sisters, Margaret McElroy and Kathy Travis. He is survived by his sisters, Sue and (Roger)Coker, Lisa McElroy; brothers, Bobby and Billy McElroy; many nieces, nephews and friends. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Thursday at the funeral home. The funeral will be held in the chapel at 8 pm Thursday with the Rev. Lawrence Waller officiating. Interment will be in Mtn. View Memorial Gardens Friday at 1 pm. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Bowers Funeral Home to help cover his final expenses.
