Penelope Mae Cooper

Penelope (Pennye) Mae (Kennedy) Cooper, age 59, of Decatur, TN passed away on Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at her mothers residence.. She was of the Baptist Faith. She was preceded in death by her father Martin Kennedy. She is survived by her mother Polly (Elder) Kennedy of Decatur, TN; husband Doug Cooper of Chattanooga, TN; two sons, Justin Brown of Soddy Daisy, TN, Clay Cooper of Gainesville, FL; one brother and sister-in-law, Tim and Chrissy Kennedy of Hixson, TN; Mandie and Jeff Mathis of Soddy Daisy, TN; and a host of good friends. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 23, 2010 in the Bowers Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Joe K. Miller officiating. Interment will be in the McKenzie Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be: Justin Brown, Clay Cooper, Doug Cooper.
