Pauline Wilson Jarvis

Pauline W. Jarvis, age 83, of Decatur, TN went home to be with the Lord Saturday, June 9 , 2012 at her daughters residence. She was a member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, D. W. (Dart) Wilson and Millie (Miller) Wilson; husband, Sam Jarvis; sisters, Erna Wilson, Belle Brown, Sally Goforth, Ollie Howard, Sara Jane Porter, Willie Kennedy; brothers, Buddy Wilson, Robert Wilson and Clyde Wilson. She is survived by two sons and daughter-in-laws, Farrell and Jean Jarvis, Frank and Becky Jarvis, all of Decatur, TN; one daughter and son-in-law, Anita and Peter Martinez of Decatur, TN; three sisters, Mary Layman, Bertha Haynes, both of Decatur, TN, and Artie Sue Sewell of Chattanooga, TN; granddaughters, Jodie Jarvis, Samantha Ward, Stephany Stimmie, Jeannie and Vince Newman, Missy Coker and fiancee Jeff Botts; grandsons, Frankie and Cindy Jarvis, Jason Jarvis, Dean Jarvis, Tanner Jarvis; great grandchildren that were very special to her, Dustin Coker, Mason Coker, Brock Newman, McCall Newman, Chase Jarvis, Tripp Jarvis, Will Jarvis, Thomas Jarvis; several nieces and nephews; one special friend Mary May Morrow. Special thanks to Camellia Home Health, Bobbie, Sharon, Bruce, Julie, Amanda, John Judy, Mark. And a special thanks to Dr. Sinha. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home. The funeral will be at 8 pm Tuesday at the Bowers Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Charles (Dump) Armour officiating. Interment will be in the Walnut Grove Cemetery at 11 a.m., Wednesday. Pallbearers: Dean Goforth, Robert Howard, Robert Wattenbarger, Bill Jarvis, Eddie O'Daniel, Van Godsey.
