Paula Kay Meyers
April 25, 1965 — January 20, 2019
Paula Kay Meyers, 53, of Ten Mile passed away Sunday, January 20, 2019 at UT Medical Center in Knoxville. She was born in Cleveland and was a lifelong resident of Ten Mile. Paula was a homemaker who loved crafting, baking and flower gardening. She volunteered at the Decatur Senior Center arranging activities and bringing joy to all she knew.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Linda Fisher and her son, John-Hoss Meyers.
Survivors include her father, C.L. Fisher of Ten Mile; her daughters Beth Miller (Chad) of Knoxville and Jaclyn Cofer (Chris) of Sweetwater; a brother, Richard Fisher of Cleveland; a step-brother, Greg Fisher of Ten Mile; step-sisters, Tammy Bradford and Cindy Coley of Georgia; four grandchildren; her best friend, Bev Millsaps of Ten Mile; and the father of her children, Jack Meyers of Sweetwater.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 23, 2019 from 5pm to 7pm at Bowers Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7pm with Malcolm Gardner officiating. Burial will be in Roberts Cemetery at 11am on Thursday, January 24, 2019.
The family invites friends to celebrate Paula's life with a reception at the Ten Mile Community Center beginning at 12pm on Thursday. Please bring a covered dish and come fellowship with them.
