Patricia Cox Posey, age 76, of Georgetown, passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband: Jimmy Cox, daughter: Lisa Littleton, grandson: Nathanial Davis. She is survived by her children: James C Davis (Beverly), Connie Scroggins (Tim), Jimmie Cox, Jerry Cox, Tony Cox, Penny Waldroup; grandchildren: Alex and Samantha Davis, Timothy Scroggins, Bryanna Cox, Jennifer Nunley (Hunter), Brittney Cox, Chelsea, Ashley, Elijah, and Emily Waldroup; great-grandchildren: Phoenix, Levi, Adalynn, Miles, Laken, Kohen; siblings: Frannie Mae Hess, Clara Mae Ross, Wonda Sue Ball (Mike), Betty Lou Clark (Gary), Tommy Burkett (Deb); several nieces, nephews, and other extended family. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Decatur Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Interment will follow in the Cofer Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 in the Chapel of Decatur Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
