Pamela Sue Marshall Hughes, age 66, of Ten Mile, passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2024.
She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading, knitting, and cooking.
She was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather: Dorothy Davis and Sam McClure; son: Joseph Wayne Hughes; in-laws: Claude and Mildred Hughes; brother-in-laws: Larry (Karen), J.C. and Nathan Hughes; sister-in-law: Dorothy Hughes.
Survivors include her husband of nearly 48 years: Wayne Hughes; son: Joshua (Amy) Hughes; brother: Nathan “Pete” McClure; nieces: Tiffany Amber McClure, Tara Alyssa McClure; nephews: Larry (Erika) Douglas, Scott (Susan) Hughes, Teddy (Susan) Hughes; sister-in-law: Judy Hughes; several great-nieces, great-nephews, other extended family.
A funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, April 19, 2024 in the Chapel of Decatur Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Bro. Curtis Porter officiating.
Family will receive friends from 5 – 6 p.m., prior to the service.
