Pamela Doy Lively

Pamela Doy Lively, aged 81, of Decatur, passed away peacefully Sunday afternoon, November 3, 2024 at her residence surrounded by loved ones.
Pam loved flowers, working in her yard, and anything that got her outside. She was at her happiest though when she was surrounded by family and friends laughing and telling stories.
Pam was born on September 1, 1943 in Nashville, TN to her parents, the late William Glenn and Oma Belle Summers.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by sons, David Keith Corlew and Steven Wayne Corlew; sister, Goldie Agee; in-laws Clifton and Martha Lively; brother in-laws Phillip Horton, Warren “Buzz” Lively, Charles Lively and David Lively.
Left to cherish her memory are the love of her life and husband of 54 years, John E. Lively of Decatur, TN.; Her children who she was so proud of and loved deeply, Dawn (Sam) Espinoza of Murfreesboro, TN., and John Glenn (Jennifer) Lively of Decatur,TN; 9 grandchildren who she cherished and loved, Tamara (Josh) Driver, Chasity (Brandon) Keith, Matthew (Sarah) Corlew, Stephanie (Corey) Haeuptle, Ashley (Randy) Koss, Brittany Lively, Pammy (Dylan) Crisp, John Michael Lively, and Beth Lively; 9 great-grandchildren; 1 sister she cared for greatly Glenda Horton of Nashville, TN. Pam also has a host of Brother in laws and Sister in Laws along with many nieces and nephews and special friends to cherish her memory.
A funeral service will be held at 7 p.m., on Friday, November 8, 2024, in the Chapel of Decatur Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
Interment will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 9, 2024, in the Meigs County Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, prior to the service.
